POLICIES
School environment affects the way in which students work and experience certain emotions. It affects the overall performance and outcomes of the activities in which they participate. My goal is to help improve the environment that surrounds the freshman body thus enhancing the first-year experience as a whole.

DINING EXPERIENCE
There's always room for improvement when it comes to food. It is my goal to ensure that students get the best value for their buck. As a student body, we will work in collaboration with the cafeteria and restaurant staff to ensure that you get the best meals. Also, don't forget the prioritization the addition of seasoning to ensure that students enjoy every single bite of their meal. Furthermore, I will work towards an initiative of adding restaurants such as Chatime as part of the meal plan and the diversifying of options for vegetarians and people with dietary restriction.

ACADEMICS
As much as we want to experience fun,
at the end of the day we came for the academics. I will work towards improving the program selection process for students especially in highly concentrated schedules to allow for spaced schedules. I will also work towards negotiating extended library hours over the weekends to increase the availability of this study space. Even out of class, the announcement of workshops and webinars will be improved so that all students are kept up to date with what is happening on the academic scene.

CLUBS AND SPORTS
There are over 300 clubs at Mac which means there is something for everyone. However, do people really know about the club that suits them? Advertisement of clubs is one aspect I would really like to touch upon so that all freshmen will be aware of all the clubs and resources available to them. Only then can freshmen truly say they found the right activities for themselves. Funding of cultural clubs and ethnic groups will also receive an upgrade to allow them to host events that raise awareness about their existence

to Work
leading is influencing others through direction, inspiration, and motivation toward the attainment of organizational objectives. As a person who would like to become the chair of the first-year council, I believe that one should have excellent communication skills, understanding, adaptability, and teamwork skills. I acquired these skills during my two years as a high school teaching assistant, two years as the head of the mentoring club, and my position as a prefect for a year.
Along with the position of events coordinator and official school host for the final year of high school, I was able to learn and build on my knowledge and ability to reconcile my mistakes to better my understanding of different subjects. Even though I can name a thousand more positions I have occupied, I just wanted to show you that you are putting your trust in an experienced person in the field of leadership and getting the job done.
